Judge CV
Owning and breeding dogs has had a long history in our family. My great-grandfather started his „Hamry“ kennel in 1921, breeding German Short-haired Pointers and Wire-haired Fox Terriers. I grew up with my Grandparents Cocker Spaniels and got my first own dog – a Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund female - in 1988, as a birthday present.
My Vitoraz“ kennel was founded in 1990 with the birth of my first Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund litter. I have bred this breed exclusively for many years. In recent times we have added Cesky terriers, a Czech national breed.
During the last 36 years of my active cynological life I have owned and bred altogether more than 300 National and International Champions and many FCI World and European Winners. Vitoraz dogs reside in more than 30 countries on several continents and some of them have, I believe, contributed significantly to the quality of the breed in their country. More than 25 of my dogs have taken part in several working trials. Typical appearance, perfect movement, balanced and friendly character are the main goals in my kennel, together with attention to all the health aspects of this lovely hunting breed.
I have been judging since 2010, and am currently qualified to judge FCI groups IV and IX. I have judged many specialities, national and international shows in more than 25 countries, including World dog shows and European dog shows. I am very honoured to be a part of this important show event – European dog show in Celje!
