I've been involved in dogs all my life. During my chilhood we had Spanish Mastiffs and German Shepherds at the family estate, together with some German Shorthaired Pointers for hunting.
Since 1990 I've been breeding together with my wife under the affix "DE LA ENNA" mainly Golden and Labrador Retrievers, but also some other breeds as Spanish Water Dogs or Brussels Griffons. Even breeding in a small basis and mostly for ourselves we've been breeders/owners of champions in more than 12 different countries, including European and World Winners.
I'm working in PR and Communication for more than 30 years, having been editor of several dog papers and magazines in Spain as well as collaborate for some others abroad.
I'm founder member of the WDPA (World Dog Press Association) serving as Vicepresident from 2012 to 2016 and President from 2016 to 2024.
I've served the Spanish Retriever Club as Secretary for 10 years and President for 12 years, and also I've been member of the board at Murcia and Alicante Dog Societies.
Member of the Board at Spanish Kennel Club (RSCE) since 2017, I'm the President of the Society since 2021 and also elected as FCI General Committee member at Madrid General Assembly in 2022.
Judging since 2002, I've judged in more than 40 countries from 4 Continents, including the most importan Clubshows and International events in the world as well as 6 WDS, 3 EDS and 1 Americas Section Show.
It will be a great honor to be again judging in Slovenia and I wish the best of success for the EDS 2024.
