My Name is Janine Klein, I was born in 1996 and I have been involved in dog sports and dog shows my whole life. My parents always had a German Shepherd and in my early childhood I spent a lot of time at the SV dog training club. We also always had papillons and I got my first own papillon named "Käthe" in 2004. With Käthe my passion for showing dogs started. Käthe and me were a great team in the Junior Handling competitions of the younger age category. In 2012 my whippet Daisy came from Italy to join our family and I loved to participate in Junior Handling with Daisy too. Junior Handling became an important competition for me and I enjoyed a lot to participate in Germany but also abroad, with my own dog, but also with dogs of friends. It was so interesting to learn so much about correct handling of different breeds and their characters. I always loved helping friends who were showing several breeds in the ring and this gained experience about the various breeds, their temperaments and specific points. After my 18th birthday I started judging Junior Handling at National and International shows in Germany and abroad and teaching handling and Junior Handling seminars in Germany. 2019 the breed schipperke came into my life which I am showing together with my papillons all over Europe and achieved "World Winner, European Winner, German Top Dog of the Year 2023" titles and Best in Show wins.
Dogs and the Dog Show World have been my passion since day one. I am very honoured and excited to judge Junior Handling at the European Dog Show in Celje and thankful to the organizing team for this invitation.
